I've seen these spiders around my house. One showed up in my bed, and now one on my kitchen floor. These spiders have been around a whole lot, and are large and VERY loud. The only reason I know to look is that I hear them crawling. Anyway, I've attached a photo of it. Sorry for it being squished :( but I got very spooked, and it became aggressive.
With few exceptions, such as black widow spiders, positive i.d.s seldom are possible from a ventral view alone. Please try to obtain a clear dorsal (top side) image of one of these spiders.
