Help? Succulents are dying?

Manhattan, KS

Here are some photos of my plants. I am aware that I will need to repot them soon. However, a few of my succulents are somewhat squishy, and i can even bend them without any tension or issues. The soil I am using is probably not the best soil for them, but I have mixed in some rocks and do not have the soil packed. I do not water often, and have only had them for a little over a month. I have only watered them for real once, and also have sprayed them with water once. the top 1-3 inches of soil are completely dry. Lower, it is moist- not wet. I do see that the leaves that are falling off are dry and not juicy. I don't think any issue is severe YET, but really want to get it figured out!! Thank you!!

Soil type is crucial for succulents and cacti. It would be best to buy a good succulent potting soil mix. None of your plants look bad. Some of them are stretching for room and more light. That can cause them to become leggy over time. If the falling leaves are dry, it's probably natural or from being somewhat overcrowded.

Okay. That makes sense. For right now, I don't have the capability of getting new potting mix (I live in a small town. No walmart/targer/home depot.) So I went ahead and just moved my cactus to a new pot, I had someone from a different website that they should be in a separate one, and then added some more gravel and rocks to my mix. My soil was fairly bone dry, the very bottom was a little moist though, but nothing super wet.

my Kalanchoe are VERY bendy. Very squishy. I could try to snap the leaves if I wanted, and they probably wouldn't--and would just bend.

I've owned an Evhevaria before this, and I killed it so fast, and I really have been feeling so good with these little guys and want to keep them for as long as possible. Is there a reason why my more fuzzy plants are very soft and almost wilty? All three of my fuzzy friends are somewhat bendy/squishy. None of their roots look bad.
