I purchased my Lantana camera Sonset from a nursery about 3 years ago. It has gorgeous red/orange/yellow blooms....usually. But this year one branch has pink and white blooms. The rest of the plant has the color I expect. Any idea why?
Lantana Sonset odd blooms
The atypical flowers are likely the result of a "sport" - a part of the plant that has a spontaneous genetic mutation that is not harmful but causes growth that is different from the parent plant. In your case, it looks like the flowers are reverting to the pink/pastel colors of the Lantana camara species.
