I have been able to find out that it is possibly a serigiolus montanus also possibly a female. I found it in my apartment. I live in a basement unit. It was running across the floor. I would like to know if it is poisonous, what it's name is, etc. please and thank you.
It is a Serigiolus, possibly S. montanus (microscopic examination of certain body parts is necessary to confirm identification). These are not poisonous, but are venomous (like the vast majority of spiders, they possess venom glands). However, they are not at all dangerous to humans.
