I have hundreds of wild violets which spread into my flower beds and enhanced them significantly. But this year they are falling ill with a yellowing disease. I asked the best local nursery what to do with them; they didnt have a suggestion-- said only " it looks like a fungus". Well, so, do I need to dig them all out or what? Please help.
Violet Rescue
If u really want to keep them u could try bayer advanced rose & flower care. Looks like insect damage to me. My personal opinion is to get rid of them if u can. With violets u get 2 weeks of pretty and the rest they r just a pain. Been trying for years to get rid of after I had thought they were “cute”. They have invaded the lawn almost all my gardens yuck!
