Hello once again... Today here in Thunder Bay Ontario I happened across this very large moth. I've not seen one before but after some online research I think it is some kind of Sphinx Moth. As to the name I have no idea. Unfortunately none of the pictures are super clear and this thing moves quite fast. This moth was quite large at about 3 inches I believe. Also, what can't be seen in any of the photo's is it's large feathery antenna. Thanks for reading.

It is a sphinx moth, but I really need to see a top side (dorsal) view in order to have any confidence in a more specific i.d.
Thanks Flapdoodle. I figured as much but unfortunately I'm either to short or it was too far up the tree 😁. I'm hoping it'll return but after our heavy rains the lilacs are almost done.
