At least I think it is burning bush. I've been told it is but I moved in here last year and it never turned red in the fall. One side with the white flecks is the top of the leaves and the other is the underside of the leaves. Some of the fuzz is from the cottonwood fluffs.
Is this powdery mildew on my burning bush?
It kinda looks like paint. Was there anything painted near the plant?
No, nothing has been painted near this bush. It is towards the back of my lot with plenty of air flow.
Could it be Euonymus Scale?
I've never heard of Euonymus scale but the pics online sure look like a match.
It must be Euonymus Scale because the ladybugs are all over the plant.
