This was found on a Teucrum fruitican plant - hopefully it can be ID'd. Its aprroximately 3mm in length and dark green in colour.
Many thanks
Can anyone ID this bug please?
This is a nymph of a plant bug in the family Miridae; possibly in the genus Heterotoma - see http://www.naturespot.org.uk/species/heterotoma-planicornis for an example. These bugs reportedly feed on small insects as well as on plant buds and unripe fruits.
Thank you very much for the ID! Quite cute little bugs!!
This is an assassin bug known as the masked hunter (Reduvius personatus). This is a peridomestic species that often is found indoors where it feeds on insects and other arthropods found there.
And in the future, PLEASE start a new thread rather than hitchhiking on an existing one...
