Hi, several of these recently showed up on my roses. Small, looks like a grasshopper, striped antennae, can fly.
Any help?

ID please - Grasshopper-ish insect on roses
This is a nymph of a bush katydid in the genus Scudderia - see http://www.austinbug.com/survey/2010/pics/5-20-10scudderia.jpg for another example. As nymphs lack functional wings, I do not see how it could fly...
