Most likely a nymph of a leaf-footed bug (family Coreidae). However, some young assassin bug nymphs can appear quite similar.

Thanks so much for the response. Do you happen to know if this is a bug known to be a pest to squash plants? The word "assassin" concerns me

Squash bugs are in the family Coreidae, but this is not a nymph of a squash bug. Assassin bugs are in the family Reduviidae, and are general predators on other small arthropods, mainly other insects.
