Found two of these bugs (in a small room where my dog and his toys play); (this bug was dead, the other alive and I vacuumed it). The window in that room is usually open but there's a screen. .5m in length/ pencil eraser. Medium brown in color. Smooth back. Thankssss ahead anyone!
I cannot be certain from these images, but it might be a carpet beetle in the genus Attagenus - see https://www.forestryimages.org/browse/detail.cfm?imgnum=5393654 for an example.
