Found it in the house chillin' on the floor. Since it's my first time seeing this insect, I catched it so i could get a closer look. Does anybody know what it is?

This is a long-horned wood-boring beetle (family Cerambycidae). Hundreds of species of these beetles occur in the Philippines; see http://insectoid.info/checklist/cerambycidae/philippines/

I also saw a very large one before (approx. 4 inch long body) when i was in a mountainous area. Also thought it was a beetle, but i'm not really knowledgeable on insects.

Anyways, I applaud your enyclopedia like knowledge on insects!
