Hello,
I need help identifying this bug that has recently been infesting my room.
I first noticed it after waking up one night, and my pillow was covered in about 20 or so of them. Since then, I've been changing my pillow, mattress, etc. almost every day, but they keep returning. I'm not sure where they are coming from.
They seem particularly interested in my pillow, my duvet, and the wooden boards of my bed. I've also noticed a few on my walls too.
I've attached a few images of the bug under a microscope. It's a very small bug, at only 0.6mm, and you could easily mistake it for a piece of black fluff.
It's black, with a brown head (I only noticed its head was brown when I shown a torch on it). It has 6 legs, and 2 antennae.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks

These appear to be mites of some sort; the images are not clear enough for more specific identification. Check your immediate surroundings (not just your room) for any bird or rodent nests.
