I found this spider when I uncovered my planter boxes out at the lake in Shebandowan, Ontario. It was not very big, perhaps the size of my baby finger nail, perhaps a little larger. I've included two views, front and back. Thank you.

Looks like a juvenile hacklemesh weaver (family Amaurobiidae) in the genus Callobius - see http://www.pbase.com/tmurray74/image/60099675 for an adult example...
