I just found this spider on a wall in my bedroom. It's about the size of a housefly. Anyone know what type it is and if it's poisonous?

Looks like a jumping spider (family Salticidae). Like the vast majority of spiders, these have venom glands and thus technically can be termed venomous. However, they are not at all dangerous to humans. See the 'sticky' on spider bites at the top of this forum.
