I purchased two clematis and potted each using the same soil and compost. One is doing well as you can see in the first pic, but the other dropped all its flowers two days after I potted it and has not bloomed since. It has been two weeks. I have uploaded two pictures. Do I need to deadhead this or is this new growth? Any suggestions?
Clematis Problem
It looks like a seed head. It looks like the blooms are finished on the second plant but I'd just let it settle in and start growing. It might be past it's blooming time so you may need to wait until next year.
