I re-potted my 5.5ft tall Dracaena Marginata and I had to trim back from the tallest part, to fit in its location. I removed it from the lava rocks it had been in. The roots didn't look that great. Had to trim many of them back. Then I realized the stalks maybe looked a little "old". My worry is I have some kind of rot?
Sorry i didn't take a pic of the roots. Thanks in advance for any input.....

Dracaena Marginata could have issue?
One of the stems looks like it is a goner. The only thing you can do now is maintain it as it is and let it settle in after the transplant. I've seen this type of rot on Dracaena marginata many times.
Thank that was my worry? Is there a long shot way to attack this issue, letting the soil dry out more? Fertilizer? More or less light? Thanks again
Make sure you allow the soil to somewhat dry out between waterings but give it a thorough watering when you do. When a stem goes like that, I haven't seen it come back.
