found these on a tree in my backyard and i have no idea what they are.
Can\'t figure out what these are.
They appear to be a type of tree lice/bark lice, but I can't find a picture of one with red spots on it's sides.
These are nymphs of the oak treehopper, a bug in the family Membracidae - http://entnemdept.ufl.edu/creatures/orn/oak_treehopper.htm
Probably prowling spiders (family Miturgidae) - http://www.pbase.com/tmurray74/image/143704360
