I am trying to identify this spider. I find the in my tub every few months found two in the last two days. Over a inch long. photo taken with it in a standard jam jar Are they toxic why always in bathroom Maybe wolf? Venoumous? Thank you in advance
Help with Ontario spider ID
This appears to be a house spider in the genus Tegenaria - see http://www.spiderzrule.com/gianthouse13.jpg for an example. Although like the vast majority of spiders these have venom glands and thus technically are considered venomous, they pose no threat to humans.
