Hi everyone! I recently purchased a desert rose and the soil was very dense and wet. In an effort to ensure it was growing in the correct soil, I repotted it into the same size pot, changed the soil to cactus/succulent soil, put a tiny bit of fertilizer on top then gave it a bit (not a lot) of water. Overnight the leaves have turned yellow! I checked the soil today and its not wet.. I also placed it in a sunny location. I live in zone 9. Please help and thanks in advance.
Desert Rose Repotting Error?
You have done everything right. Give it a chance to recover from transplant shock. If it loses all it's leaves, not to worry. Just continue to give it full sun and be shy on the watering.
Thank you growin. I appreciate your feedback and hope you're right. Patience is not my strong suit so am dreading if the leaves fall off because then I'll have to wait for them to grow back. Fingers crossed.
