Does anyone know what kind of fly this is? I have dozens in my house and outside as well. Tried those yellow sticky pads they are hit or miss. They just started showing up 2 weeks ago, I don't know because of the rain? I have lived here 15years in the same place and I have never seen them. They look like gnats??

Flys in my house
Might be a dark-winged fungus gnat (family Sciaridae). Their larvae usually are found in very damp/saturated soil and often are associated with over-watered house plants.
