how to root magnolia cuttings & when
You can google up most any propagation techniques, but it would help to know which Magnolia you are planning to root. The deciduous species are treated differently than broadleaf evergreen forms like Southern Magnolia.
Thanks for the info. I didn't know there were so many kinds. Mine is the old- fashioned kind. One is about 80 feet tall and the other one is the same but only about 30 or 40 feet tall. That's all I know but I would like to root a new one in case one dies. Any help needed. alday
I think mine is the old southern maganolie. Thanks again alday
Magnolias- esp the southern ones, are ph sensitive like our cedars. Luck.
