CLOSED: Small 2-3 mm insect
This is a nymph of a treehopper, possibly that of a tri-horned treehopper - Acanthuchus trispinifer- or a close relative. See http://nzacfactsheets.landcareresearch.co.nz/factsheet/images/Image15H6large.jpg for an example.
