I came across an extract of a student's science fair project in which he tests three flowers' appeal to bees:
-Freesia
-Waxflower
-Vyron Pom Pons

I know a little about flowers. I do not know "Pom Pons." As the student was in California, U.S.A., I assume that it is a plant available there. Websearching "pom pons" is a nightmare, as Google refuses to distinguish between "pom pon(s)" and "pom pom" (even using Google Advanced). What is the scientific name of the plant the child was testing?
There is a cut-flower company that has multiple pom pons: http://www.valleyflowers.com/Availability.htm
By the way, my interest in flowers is mainly for honeybees. Are there DavesGarden groups for beekeepers?

Pom Pons (Vyron Pom Pons) & Bees
I'm guessing he probably meant Chrysanthemum 'Vyron.'
