Hey there,
Does anyone know what spider this is? Found whilst weeding in our suburban back garden in Perth, Australia. This photo is of its belly and the entire spider is about the size of an adults palm. Its other side is completely brown and camouflaged. It played dead for about an hour on our foot path before it flipped around and returned to its spot in a very shallow gathering of dead leaves.
Thanks,
Charlie

Looks like a huntsman spider (family Sparassidae) - see http://www.photoree.com/photos/permalink/4288720-40325561@N04 for an example.
