I have a relatively new thornless climbing rose (Climbing Zephirine Thornless). It is about 2 years old. I has put out many LONG branches (not suckers...I checked) but it has never shown any inclination to bloom. It gets good sun, and water. It appears to be quite healthy and continues to grow.
Does it need or want pruning? How do you prune a rose like this, and how do you encourage bloom?
Thank you.
