Can you help identify this bug? (order Diptera?) and a moth?
The moth is in the family Noctuidae; it belongs to a group collectively known as darts, some of which also are referred to as cutworms - see http://gregsmoths.com/wp-content/gallery/hodges-10641-11053-noctuidae-noctuidae/10670-Dingy-Cutworm-yard-9-4-12-31a.JPG for an example. Unfortunately, there are quite a few species that can have a very similar appearance, so I would be hesitant to pin this one down any further.

The overall aspect of this fly reminds me of something in the family Scathophagidae (dung flies), but I can't really get a handle on it...
