Happy New Year Lisa, glad you are still here.

I just had squirrels removed from the crawl space between my first and second floors of my house I haven't had to go outside to be with nature!

Boy I guess you haven't. Be sure the opening gets closed up well, that is the sort of place bees really like.

I'm back, life got busy last year and I didn't renew my membership until last week. Seems like the Tomato and Vegetable forums are even slower!

Welcome back David, I hope you will stick around.

Are all the ads new? I don't remember them being so annoying on the older software... Not having ads is usually the reason websites have paid memberships.

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

I think you can choose not to see the ads in your preferences.

Preferences allow ads to be turned off

Have not been keeping up with DG for sometime. Question abut the weekly email:
Is it my web browser (Safari) or do others see the same thing. The text is in along string down the page beside the pictures...one word at a time. Very difficult to read. I usually just give up because it is not worth it. Anyone???

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

No that is not right, it should read like normal, it must be your computer, I don't have that problem.

I think that it may be presenting in frame view Lou, it is probably a setting on your browser but it may be that a DG tech can tell you how to reset it. Do you have more than one browser installed?

I have Firefox and Internet Explorer. If a page doesn't look right in one of them, I view it in the other, that lets me know if it is the page or my browser.

I used to use Chrome but it did bad things printing my bank statement, when I tried another browser and figured out it was Chrome, I uninstalled it.

Not having any problems viewing DG or with Ads. I use IE, Chrome, and Safari.

It's so good to see your're posting again David!

I'll be so glad when the weather gets sunny and warms up...

I didn't mind seeing garden related ads in the "old" days, but when I came back it just looked like general web spam ads. I've changed my settings to not show ads anymore.

That is good

I have iMac and use Safari. I misspoke. It is worse than one word string. It is one letter at a time In a long stream down the page. Impossible to decipher.

I don't know anything about Mac and Safari. Can you message an admin?

Liberty Hill, TX(Zone 8a)

I'm on Safari on my iPad right now and mine is fine. LouC you may want to post in the Computer Forum they might be able to answer your question.
