So far, here in Vancouver Canada, we have not had anything near a frosty night and the weather is still mild.
I know I am supposed to let my glads grow until they turn brown... BUT, they are still green and it's November...
My queston is: Do I cut off the green foliage of my glads, or do i let them continue to collect sunlight? It's already mid November...
Thanks!
Gladiolus and a very mild winter- Do i cut?
Me too!
I am waiting to cut down my glads and peonies, but not sure that is the right answer. I did just go out into the yard and suddenly today my tree peony is losing leaves, this despite no hard frosts. So, at least some plants "get it" that it is now late Autumn.
Other plants are still sure it is summer...
