Can anyone tell me what this spider is on the outside of my house. Im sure it's nothing that interesting I just wondered. Never seen one like it before.

It's an orb weaver (family Araneidae); likely an Araneus sp. such as A. diadematus - http://www.uksafari.com/cross.htm
