Hello, I'm having a problem with my fig tree dying in spots. I'm having the same issue with two Chinese plums (posted in another thread). The fig tree does appear to have some holes in its dead sections and I did catch a few ant like critters on the tree when I was pruning out the dead areas (couldnt get a clear photo on one, they were scares and running fast). Here are some photos of the dead areas. If anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate it.
I'm currently suspecting fireblight on the loquats, not sure if that can be transferred to figs. I'm also including a fifth photo thats actually from the loquat. It shows a kind of web like thing that was in the fig tree pretty heavily previously but looks all gone now.
I'll try and get more pictures tomorrow.
