Hi DG, can anyone help identify this little chap that i found behind my washing basket on my carpet today, ive never seen anything like it but he was about 1cm long, 0.5cm wide. It looked like a larvae maybe - i havent much experience here so i cant be sure but it had huge shiny black eyes on the front and its body was covered in orange hairs and black underneath?
Please help identify! little bug larvae? big shiny black eyes and orange fur?!?
This is a very dead and desiccated moth caterpillar; it likely had accidentally wandered inside, where it starved to death and then completely dried up.
