Happy Day! Dirt spotted!

Saint Helen, MI(Zone 5a)

This morning I had two small patches of dirt in my driveway. That is the first time since early december that I have been able to see dirt or lawn.
The bad news is 1) the rest of the lawn is still under a foot of snow 2) it snow enough today to cover the dirt back up :(

I just paused to figure out how much longer until the average last frost date. 11 weeks!!! :(

Sari, You poor, poor thing. Imagine not seeing the soil?

Our crocus's are blooming, the daffs, my daughter gave me for Xmas, that I planted in January, are about to burst into bloom - she was jipped, they were supposed to be doubles, but look to me like singles. OH well great to have daffs blooming anyway.

The blue jays are having a 'hay day' with all the sunshine we have been having lately. The hummingbirds are back, they told me in no uncertain terms to put out their feeder!! Other than the earthquake, we are having a wonderful winter, only 2 snow falls which lasted 1 day each. We are having a record SUNNY winter!! From Rain Forest British Columbia (very little rain this winter/spring)!
