CLOSED: Found this guy in my boys room... Posionous or no???

Clearwater, FL

This guy/gal was just chilling on the wall by a crack above my 6 month olds crib so I took my boy out of bed and caught it. I took pictures because I don't exactly know what kind of spider i'm dealing with. Any info please so I know what steps/precautions to take. Thanks!

I'm in Florida if that helps any.

As this spider is neither a recluse or widow spider, it is nothing dangerous to humans. With the exception of one small family (Uloboridae), all spiders possess venom glands and therefore technically at least are considered venomous. Fortunately, the vast majority of these pose no threat to humans. See the 'sticky' on spider bites at the top of this forum.

I didn't think it would be of any harm. I know what widows and recluse spiders look like and this guy had no markings other then his legs kind of resembled a brown widows but I knew that's not what it was. Thank you for confirming!
