Brown recluse or??

Hello!

I'm looking for help identifying the spider in the attached pictures. We just moved from brown recluse area, but aren't in it now. Did we bring it with us, or is this something different? Currently in Santa Rosa, CA.

Hello, according to violin shape on its cephalothorax it could be a brown recluse, but maybe Im wrong. If u captured it try to check if it have 6 eyes, if does then is brown recluse.

I believe that this more likely is a recluse 'look-alike' in the family Tengellidae - see http://www.spiderzrule.com/tengellid.htm
Remember that recluse spiders very rarely are encountered out in the open...

Thanks for your help! I'll check out that link. It was actually found crawling in the dark. My cat saw it on the wall and we turned a flash light on it before swiftly catching it.
