I have a (portulaca grandiflora) Moss Rose plant in a container kept in the Balcony. It is infested with this worm like insects. they are many. I tried spraying insecticide bought from nursery but they seem unaffected. Please help me find what this worm exactly is and what it’s called so that i can find out proper killer for these creatures. They have affected the plant badly and flowering is reduced remarkably. Buds are drying our before blooming.
Moss Rose infected with some crawling Bug
This is a caterpillar of a moth in the family Geometridae. It should be susceptible to most insecticides registered for use against chewing insects.
