Hi everyone,
We have about 10 of these spiders in our conservatory. Are they false widows?
They've been there for over a year now. It started as just one or two.
The conservatory is being knocked down in a couple of weeks, shall we just leave it to the builders or are there precautions we should take?
False Widow?
This does look very much like Steatoda nobilis, which, along with some other Steatoda species, collectively are known as false widow spiders. See http://www.uksafari.com/falsewidows.htm
