CLOSED: Help ID this Catepillar

Newton, NJ

Hey Everyone. This is a neat forum. Lots of valuable information to be gained here.

Had a friend from Maryland post a picture to Facebook of a Caterpillar she ran into on a walk she also wondered what it might end up turning into.

Being curios my self I started searching. I'm fairly adequate with google. I tried an image search by uploading the image to get similar results but got no real results.

So, I googled for forums and came across Dave's Garden.

This is the one image she posted along with the short blurb about it.
I saw the biggest, most beautiful caterpillar I have ever seen in my life! It was kind of iridescent too, which was a good things since that also helped me see it along with its size. Can anyone identify it and tell me what this beauty will turn into?
