Possibly in the family Noctuidae; obviously not suited for walking on hard surfaces...

No, it doesn't seem very much in its element at all!

Wow, that makes for a lot of species possibilities. I really enjoy learning and identifying birds and flowers. There certainly are moments of needing to differentiate between 2 or 3 species (sometimes), but nothing like trying to identify the likes of insects or mushrooms. So much knowledge to be had... as always, I say it everytime - I appreciate the help!
