On vacation saw these

Hamburg, PA

We're are away from our home zone of 6 and I would like to know the identity of these and if they will thrive in zone six.

The first is Chenille plant, Acalypha hispida, looks like the lowest zone it will take is 9a.

Second is Beauty Berry, Callicarpa family, don't know which one though. Zones 6 to 10, deciduous down to the ground in winter.

Last pic, purple striped plant, I think may be either some kind of Cordyline or Draceana. Most of these grow outside only in Zones 10 and higher, some will grow out side in zone 9 with winter protection.
And the fern-like plant with it is a Myers Asparagus Fern, Asparagus densiflorus, also zones 9 and up.

Hope this helps.

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

Here in zone 8-9 chenille plant can be invasive so we keep it in pots. Looks like a native beauty berry- rabbit food.

Powder Springs, GA(Zone 7b)

Third plant is actually Tradescantia 'Tricolor'. Only Beauty Berry should grow outdoors in zone 6 - the other two are probably only annuals if you grow outdoors otherwise grow them as houseplants for your zone.

Thank You! Guys for your help. I will close this thread now.
