So i work with flowers and one of our packages that were shipped to us had this guy stuck inside. He is very strange looking, green and white with a pink head and he is covered in small holes all over his body. He freaked me out quite a bit when I found him, I have never seen anything similar. Please let me know if anyone has any ideas to what this might be or where he came from.
Thanks

This is a broad-nosed/short-snouted weevil in the subfamily Entiminae; I have seen several images of weevils similar to this one, but no one appears certain as to its identity. The consensus is that it most likely is in the genus Compsus - see http://www.asergeev.com/p/xl-2012-1074-03/college_station_washington-golden_headed_weevil_compsus_auricephalus.jpg for an example.
