Hi, I found this 'moth' wich i hadn't ever seen before and im very curious about it, i thing it mimicries a hanging bat, does anybody know what it it?
CLOSED: Weird bat moth?
It's a sphinx moth (Lepidoptera: Sphingidae), but I can't tell you much more without knowing there the image was taken. Can you please specify?
Sure, it was taken in Mexico,in Jalisco,in Guadalajara City
It was like 12AM o'clock when i took it
It was just hanging there doing nothing :v
I believe that it is in the genus Pachylia - see http://www.discoverlife.org/mp/20p?see=I_EHMS1585&res=640 for an example.
Thanks guys, you where truly helpful! :D
