I live in the Pacific Northwest as well. This does indeed look to be either a Giant House Spider (Eratigena atrica) or possibly a very large Domestic House Spider/Barn Funnel Weaver (Tegenaria domestica) like the one I own.
I'd probably lean more towards Giant House Spider though. The legs seem much more like that of a GHS than a DHS.
We get both in our house quite often. The love to sit in dark corners and pop out at us when we go turn the lights on.
