CLOSED: Very tiny solid black scurrying bug on cacti

Kerrville, TX(Zone 8a)

These bugs are killing cacti. The ends and other spots turn black. Did find small webs at top of some plants and thought it might be spider mites, but they are red.
Aphids? Sprayed with combination of soda and small amount of vinegar which did not help. Plants are directly planted in caliche and were growing fine until now. Do not like using insecticides. Any info you might have is greatly appreciated.

Try an insecticidal soap - these are environmentally safe...

Tks. It is definitely spider mites so will dose them with an insecticide.
