The image quality for the spider is not sufficient for me to be certain of an i.d.; it might be a small wolf spider. It certainly is nothing dangerous. The other is Psorophora ciliata, a large mosquito sometimes called a gallinipper. It breeds in temporary pools of water, where their larvae feed on other mosquito larvae.
