Found it in my basement behind some boxes. It's a little bigger than a quarter. I live in Champaign, Illinois. I apologize for the bad lighting. I just need to know if it's dangerous or not. Thanks!
What kind of spider is this?
Image quality is not sufficient for me to be certain, nut a likely suspect would be a funnel weaver in the genus Tegenaria - see http://www.spiders.us/species/tegenaria-domestica/#more_pictures for some images. These spiders are not dangerous to humans.
