Help me identify this spider please

Just saw this spider and killed it. Seemed to be walking pretty slow. Bad at identifying spiders but this is the only image i have. I put it in different sizes so you could see how big it was. Maybe about an inch or a half an inch.

I cannot be certain, but it might be a male cobweb spider in the genus Steatoda...

I would second that tentative identification, and since you are from South Carolina, here's another suggestion, that is very closely related.
