Can you post some additional images? It could be either a wolf spider such as a Rabidosa sp. or a grass spider in the genus Agelenopsis; neither is dangerous to humans.

Hi can anyone identify this spider? It was in the lining of my sisters curtains. We managed to get it out the door. We're in the UK. Thanks

It's a male cobweb/comb-footed spider in the genus Steatoda; likely S. nobilis, often called false widow spiders - see http://www.uksafari.com/falsewidows.htm
