I get these a lot in my kitchen, usually around my sink. I probably see one a day at least. I think it might be some form of cockroach but I'm not sure. I had a dish towel out yesterday and one was just chilling on it so I got some pics. It seems too small for a cockroach, but I have no idea! I was reading that german cockroaches are about half an inch. This seems smaller than that, but not a lot smaller.

yes that's it, the pest control company told me it lives outdoors and invades houses, but does not cause infestation like german roaches. whew!
