What bug is this

A guy I work with found this bug in his house. It is the size of a speck a dirt. We have no idea what it is, can anyone help?

Most likely a booklouse - basically a nuisance pest that does little if any real harm...

Lower indoor humidity as much as practical, and eliminate unnecessary sources of moisture (leaky/pipes, dripping taps, etc.). These insects fed primarily on mold spores, and need moist/humid conditions in order to thrive...
